Description of Food Allergy Accommodations
- Trumpeter will accommodate as many food allergies as they are able to.
You won't believe your good luck when you look at the menu and realize you can nearly EVERYTHING ON IT!!!!!
The great thing about the Trumpeter is you don't have to be a celiac to enjoy it.
In fact, many people don't even realize they specialize in seasonal, organic, and gluten free gourmet cuisine.
Those of you that NEED gluten free food know the struggle of going out for dinner with friends, and being certain, you’ll be the one at the table having the dry lettuce! Not at the Trumpeter. Every sauce, marinade, soup, and dessert you can think of has been created at the trumpeter – just for you!
It won’t take you long to become to be overcome with delight at your options, and the taste? Well….check it out for yourself.
If you are watching your glycemic index – not to worry, they even use agave syrup in their desserts!
- Trumpeter provides a warm old world atmosphere with a cherry wood bar to boot. The bar is a draw as they serve local and global selections of beer, wine and other spirits. The chef only selects the fresh, high quality ingredients many local when available. Wheat flour is not added to any of their recipes. They bake bread with wheat flour, but they also make a gluten-free bread daily. They offer gluten-free beers. Everyone at the restaurant is familiar with gluten issues.
All their sauces are made using GF ingredients, mostly rice flour. They have a wonderful fish and chips with rice flour tempura batter, used on anything fried. They always have at least one daily GF dessert. All their pasta dishes are available with GF pasta! They opened recently, the prices are reasonable and even without the GF factor, they have good food. The fish and chips was heavenly!
