Description of Food Allergy Accommodations
As the fast food restaurants strive to respond to the public demand for more information they are getting better at providing at least some of the info that those with allergies need. Burger King ® is yet another that is now providing a limited set of information on some common allergens. Their allergen page (see link above) has information on which menu items contain: egg, fish, milk, peanuts, shellfish, soy, soy lecithin, tree nuts, and/or wheat. So if you aren't allergic to anything not on this list, this form will help you determine what you might risk eating at Burger King®.
Burger King is a typical fast food chain restaurant with large-scale factory production of highly processed foods. Their website is heavy on the Flash technology and somewhat annoying. Their television advertising is odd and strangely disturbing.
Adding a restaurant is easy. First copy the code from Restaurant Page Format for the preferred general layout. Put a link to the restaurant on the appropriate hub page, for example RestaurantsByName, save your change, then click on the link to open and edit the new page for your restaurant. Or just type the name of the restaurant in the URL line of your browser after '/index.php?title=' and open the new URL, paste in the code and add the info. Remember to back-link to the appropriate hubs, like your city area hub, and RestaurantsByName.
