Description of Food Allergy Accommodations

According to a representative: "Buca's fundamental mission is to provide safe, wholesome food to all of our guests. Included in this mission is providing delicious food safely to people with food allergies and food sensitivities. With a huge majority of our products made from scratch, if the chefs are made aware of a guest with food allergies or sensitivities, many of our recipes can be safely adapted to meet their specific needs."

General Description

Buca di Beppo is a family-style italian restaurant. They have a huge national chain presence.

I was reasonably satisfied with the accommodations made at the Buca di Beppo in Lynnwood, WA. I called ahead to ask about dealing with dairy and egg allergies. The young woman who answered the phone attempted to be helpful but didn't have information on ingredients or policy at her fingertips. She did eventually remember that the waitstaff have cards which indicate which dishes contain which common allergens. Our waitress produced the card as soon as we arrived and discussed options with us as our (very large) party arrived. She was able to get a few dishes specially prepared and did check with the kitchen when she had questions. We considered it to be a successful dining experience. Those with less common allergies may have a slightly harder time finding out what is in particular dishes without a bit of investigation.

Adding Restaurants

Adding a restaurant is easy. First copy the code from Restaurant Page Format for the preferred general layout. Put a link to the restaurant on the appropriate hub page, for example RestaurantsByName, save your change, then click on the link to open and edit the new page for your restaurant. Or just type the name of the restaurant in the URL line of your browser after '/index.php?title=' and open the new URL, paste in the code and add the info. Remember to back-link to the appropriate hubs, like your city area hub, and RestaurantsByName.
